New pictures of an old piece. A Figure Head Female

    This was a very early piece. I had been carving for some time but mostly whittling. My girlfriend had brought me to buy some gouges and chisels for my birthday. I had some wood that was awful. it was splitting all over the place and almost all the way in half. i didn't know what i was doing and tried to keep it all together with wood chips glued in the crack...ahh the good old days. I left the piece outside since then and now it looks great. the best finish is no finish and the elements.
